Questions we get after a remodel

How is the price decided?

By the size of the whole house, how closed up it was, the floors and glass, and how many stages you book. The pricing page explains each one, and your quote lists your own lines.

Do I need all three stages?

No. Emma tells you which she would book when she writes the quote. A small bathroom may need only the final clean and a touch-up.

What happens at the first visit?

Emma walks the house with you or your contractor, or by video, and agrees what counts as the work zone. Then she writes the quote.

Do I need to be home?

No. A lockbox, a key from your contractor or a door code sent by text all work. See the policies page for how we handle keys and alarms.

Who comes to the house?

Emma, Peyton and Anali. We send the same people to every stage of your job, and you can read their names on the about page.

Are you insured?

We carry general liability insurance, and a certificate with limits goes to you or your contractor on request.

What do you bring, and which products?

Our own vacuums with HEPA filters, runners, shoe covers, cloths and bags. For floors and finishes we ask your contractor what the manufacturer says and test on a hidden spot first. Ask for fragrance-free products and we bring them.

What if something is missed or broken?

Tell us within 48 hours with photos. We come back and finish it at no charge. The terms are on the policies page.

What if my contractor's schedule slips?

Tell us when you know. We move a stage for free up to 48 hours ahead and up to two times.

My house is old. Does that change anything?

If it was built before 1978 and paint was sanded or scraped, ask your contractor whether the work followed the EPA's lead rules for renovation. We clean after the work and do not test for or clean up lead paint debris.

Have a question that is not here?

Send it with your quote request or call Emma.
